Fixes:

• Resolved various issues related to the FormComposer feature. In some cases, repeated data that was used as a key for another lookup was not working properly.
• *CALC fields can now be added as a source field in a *CALC field. This is primarily used for creating “totals” functions in FormComposer.
• FormComposer jobs that had a copy step were failing. This has been corrected.
• Corrected an issue with Box style values not copying correctly between various PCL laser drivers.
• Improved the display of diagonal lines on the designer view canvas
• Position to field # in Work with Format Fields – List View now correctly utilizes 5 digits. Previously, it only recognized 3 digits even though the input field was 5 in length
• Conditions are now preserved on a format if the format was renamed during the import process
• The Print Monitor subsystem and job now run using the defined user profile specified in SETMMPRM
• Fixed an issue with List View – Quick Edit not saving changes made to field descriptions
• Fixed some minor issues with exporting graphics that had no source images

Updates:

• MarkMagic now supports printing from CSV, XML and JSON files.
• Print Monitor has been enhanced to support monitoring the IFS for CSV, XML and JSON files.
• New image output support added. MarkMagic can now print directly to PNG / JPG / GIF.  Scaling, rotation and color of the resulting image file is supported as well.
• New *HEADING Text field language translation functionality. Supporting GUI for defining translations added to the JMagic designer.
• Improved field selection when using F2 to edit fields on a busy format. A dialog window showing multiple nearest fields is presented to allow the user to select the exact field to edit.
• Monarch MPCL custom fonts 90-99 now use the same scaling logic as the Outline font rather than straight magnification.
• Added support for defining columns for Datamatrix barcode in Zebra drivers. Users can now more accurately define the size and number of rows / columns the resulting Datamatrix symbol will have.
• A6 added a valid page size for all PCL laser printer drivers
• Diagonal line support added to Zebra drivers
• Created a new feature that allows users to record printed field data to file. This is especially helpful when you would like to recall information about previously printed items, orders, sizes, etc.  The data can be retrieved from a file for use in other applications.
• A new option has been added to the Admin panel to support the new Saved Print Data feature.
• V7R5M0 added as a valid target release when exporting

Fixes:

• Resolved a rare print failure issue if using the print monitor in combination with print queue feature and files were dropped into a monitored folder very fast
• LBPARM batch control field now works as intended when the input data in in JSON format
• Some APIs were not properly utilizing the password during Basic authentication. This has been corrected.

Updates:

• Updated many core components and libraries in MMPI. Major updates include Log4j v2, WOW 7.8 and H2 database v2.2
• Increased the allowed length of Variable field names from 10 to 64 in length.
• Basic Users no longer have access to the Manage Users section in the MMPI web application
• Added the My User section in the MMPI Web application. This is so Basic Users can still modify/view their own personal user settings
• MMPI print APIs now support other XML structures for input data. For example, users migrating from Loftware to MMPI can use Loftware generated XML files as input data to MMPI.

Fixes:

• Corrected an issue with *CALC fields not displaying source fields after reopening the format
• JMagic will no longer allow a *MASTER format to be assigned to a *MASTER format
• Print Preview will no longer fail when using a text field that has a font number higher than 99
• In rare cases JMagic could sometimes lock up when opening the spool file viewer dialog. This has been corrected.
• Field groups are preserved on a format after Renaming the format
• Resolved various issues with saving of print jobs when editing an existing job
• Clarified the error message that was displayed when attempting to create a format with no name
• All available page sizes are now available for HP PCL laser printer drivers

Updates:

• JMagic now allows variable graphics to be placed much higher on the canvas. Previously, the closest a variable graphic could be placed at the top of a format was a half inch.
• Work with Translations GUI added to support new *HEADING Text field language translation feature added to AS400 MarkMagic version 11.0.
