Hi everybody, and welcome to another edition of MarkMagic video tutorials. Today I’m going to show you how to add a text block to your format.
If you have a copy of MarkMagic Enterprise, adding a text block is really easy. In JMagic, just click the Create Text Block button, then drag a box in the area where you want the text block to appear.
The first thing to do is name the text box. Then, in the Text Box Data tab, start typing the text block information. In this example, I’m going to cut and paste some information about MarkMagic.
You can format the text by setting the number of characters per line, then click OK and the text block will be added to the format.
You can do a lot of customization by changing the font type, style, and point size. To do this, highlight the text you want to change. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see the customization options. Click Add, and you’ll see the change appear in real time, highlighted in yellow.
Highlight another section of text to change its style. Choose a style, click Add, or change the point size by selecting the text and choosing a new size under the Font button. Click Add again.
When you’re done, click OK, then click OK once more. The text block has now been added to your format.
If you have any questions at all, feel free to add a comment below. Thanks for watching!
