QR Code

What is a QR Code?

A QR (Quick Response) code is a square 2D barcodes pattern that you can use to read information. A QR code can have any type of information, from websites to short texts and even WiFi access credentials. QR codes are used in a wide range of industries and several solutions. QR codes are used in the retail industry to improve inventory turnaround through the use of EDI, barcode scanning, and the sharing of merchandise movement data with vendors.

QR codes are easy to implement and blend in with a logo or design. Another benefit of QR codes is that they can be scanned at any angle and from a distance, which makes them more effective for businesses. Because they’re readable from any angle, they can be a very useful tool for inventory management and asset tracking. It is commonly used with shipping and warehouse labels.
