UPS Maxicode

What is an UPS Maxicode?

The UPS Maxicode symbol is an international 2-D barcode. Its design is based on a symmetrical bullseye, which is centered on the symbol and surrounded by eight hexagonal dots. The symbol is capable of holding 93 characters of information, and it can be chained with 8 others. It uses an error-correcting, centered-on-bullseye pattern that can be scanned by a scanner. In addition to shipping data, a MaxiCode can store other types of information, including billing and warehousing addresses.

The UPS MaxiCode uses a 2D barcode to identify packages. It is an international standard for package sortation and addressing. It is comprised of fixed-size hexagonal modules arranged around a unique finder pattern. The number of digits can be up to 13 characters long, and UPS uses a standardized, industry-standard symbol for shipping. If you’re wondering what a UPS MaxiCode is, this article will answer your question.

The maximum length of a UPS MaxiCode is 93 characters. The message field consists of a bull’s-eye-type finder pattern. There are also six orientation patterns. Each row contains 29 or 30 hexagonal modules. The encoding format is determined by the size of the encoding data. A MaxiCode can encode up to 93 characters of data. This number is then used to identify a package and to verify that it is the one you ordered.
