NFC (Near-Field Communication)

What is Near-Field Communication?

NFC (Near-Field Communication) is a wireless technology for short-range connections. Its primary use is in payment processing. In order to make a contactless payment, you simply hold your phone within two inches of the reader. However, with NFC, you don’t have to be in close proximity to the reader in order to make a payment. Moreover, if your phone is equipped with NFC technology, you can use it with your mobile phone, too.
