Linear Polarized Antenna

What is Linear Polarized Antenna?

An RFID antenna that transmits radio waves from a reader in one orientation or polarity. This is done in an effort to increase the antenna’s read distance and strength.

The polarization of an antenna’s field is a crucial specification. The polarization is the path that an electric field vector takes as a function of time. The polarization may be linear, circular, or elliptic. When a single component of the electric fields has a higher phase difference than the other component, the result is a linear polarized antenna.
