Last Monday (January 25th) the US FDA released new labeling and design recommendations for medical device manufacturers. The impetus for these new recommendations is the rapid growth of interconnected medical devices that can be used for patient care in medical facilities.
Most of the recommendations are straight forward, and meant to ensure safety when using the medical devices. If you’re in medical device manufacturing, be sure to take a look.
