Deep down in the soul of every cat is their inner predator. If your cat is an “outdoors” cat, you know this all too well. You’ve probably gotten a dead mouse or bird on your front porch as a “gift”. Indoor cats are no different. But, instead of hunting real animals, they go after your clothes, or its cat toys. One cat owner wanted to give his pet, Monkey, the chance to hunt for its food indoors. And to do it, he wielded the power RFID technology!

First, he put RFID tags in a bunch of small wiffle balls. Then, he made a small dispenser where monkey could drop off the RFID tagged balls. The balls pass a RFID reader, which trips the dispenser to dispense some cat food. Check out Monkey in action!
